Recluse has fairly decent damage across the board, it's two damage over time abilities can put out a decent amount of damage, and with high ranks can be stacked multiple times. With the snare from Poison Trail you can trap mobs in their spawns to be killed by damage over time. For enemies that manage to escape Recluses damage over time - Recluse can use it's Epicenter Necrosis to melt everything and anything. Unfortunately, Necrosis can not be charged while active and all of Recluses unique abilities use legacy prefixes. Recluse also does not have a good movement ability - though, you can consider Adrenaline Rush a great-value movement ability. Adrenaline Rush can be used as a great support tool, and Recluse can use Heroism to increase it's support abilities.
